WearColour is a Swedish lifestyle brand and was founded in 2010. They create garments that express trends influenced by Swedish fashion and design heritage. I became a part of their global Family team in February 2017.
Their collections bridge the gap between the wild outdoors and modern urban culture, and the gap between technical performance wear and casual clothing. The goal is to create garments to inspire people from different generations, backgrounds and cultures to enjoy adventures, whether that is exploring mountains or getting lost in big cities. They are not made to sit on a shelf; go out and face life’s challenges.
Sparq Vitamin Air™ is the world’s first eco-friendly vitamin inhalation device that replaces nicotine and harmful chemicals with lab-tested vitamins, amino acids and botanicals. Tired of seeing other companies release products that were harmful to users and the environment, we set out to design a vitamin-infused smoking alternative for adults that was safe, nicotine-free and health-focused. After two years of research and development, Sparq Vitamin Air was born.
Amazing can only be achieved by breaking boundaries. Nothing truly great ever came out of following the rules. To win some, you have to lose some. This was the mindset that led to the foundation of Onepiece, one lazy Sunday in Oslo, 2007. In an effort to capture and conceptualize the essence of a carefree Sunday filled with beautiful nothingness, the idea of a brand built around the art of slacking was born.
Simple ideas are often the greatest; whilst searching for the pinnacle of slackerwear, the idea of tying together a hoodie with a pair sweatpants using a giant zipper ended up in what would become the Onepiece Jumpsuit, the very core product of the brand. Some said it would look stupid, some said it wouldn’t last, most people agreed it wouldn’t work out. However, always going against the grain, we followed our utopian vision of creating the most innovative and premium leisurewear. The result was a worldwide phenomenon of re-engineered jumpsuits that ventured out from people’s homes and onto the streets and clubs. In our crusade against rules, norms and anything not perfectly comfortable; we are the originals, the experts and the dedicated. We are not here to jump in and out of any trends or to stay ahead of any curve. We are here because we love what we do and we believe in what we represent. We’re the slackers, the standouts and the fashion misfits. Someone has to be the one sitting furthest back in the classroom - and in the fashion industry, that’s us.
Today, we’re a global movement of slackers, counting 10 Concept Stores, over 1000 retailers selling in over 100 countries and over 1 million fans worldwide - and the slumber party has barely just started...
KOIO, a company created by two passionate sneaker heads who brought the good old European sensibility and quality to American ambition and attitude.
It’s not every day that you deviate from the script and risk it all. But that’s exactly what founders Johannes and Chris did when they both realized they were searching for high-end, well crafted sneakers that would feel and look great regardless of what you were doing that particular day. When they couldn’t find what they were looking for, the pair decided to make them themselves, and haven’t looked back since.
The key was finding a factory with the same beliefs and vision as J & C. They went straight to the source—the heart of Italy, where dedicated craftspeople have been making shoes for centuries—and visited 34 factories. They chose the one that mirrored their vision for Koio: versatile style, impeccable quality and kickass design.
Now their sneakers are recognized around the world by those who move through life with purpose, pursuing and creating opportunities. Crafted with the finest calfskin leathers, hand-finished with unrivaled attention to detail, Koio are sneakers that dare to go anywhere.

DESIGNED IN COPENHAGEN
They make sneakers, that’s what they do—plain and simple. In fact, it’s never simple. Before any pair of ARKK kicks hits the street, it goes through more than 18 months of research, design development, and materials testing. Why does it take so long? Because we want every sneaker we create to embody the spirit of Danish design, where timeless forms meet everyday functionality.
POWERED BY INNOVATION
The ARKK journey has always been rooted in curiosity. ARKK started by questioning what was possible and by challenging the status quo. Ever since then, we’ve never stopped dreaming, pushing, and questioning how we can make timeless footwear crafted with architectural forms, thoughtful details, and innovative tech.
MADE BY HAND
Before any ARKK sneaker is ready to touch your feet, it has already been touched (on average) by more than 200 pairs of human hands from around the world—from our Copenhagen-based design team to experienced materials experts around Europe to our skilled production partners in Vietnam—all working together to ensure quality in every stitch, consistency in every fit, and precision in every detail.
The story begins when Alex and Andrew take a surf trip...
to Bali Indonesia that would inevitably change their lives and the fate of the ocean. Devastated by the amount of plastic in the ocean, they set out to find out why no one was doing anything about it. One afternoon they came across an old fishing village where fishermen were literally pushing their boat through piles of plastic that had washed up on shore. The two surfers realized that the proliferation of plastic threatened both the ocean environment and the fishermen's livelihood. Could the fishermen use their nets, they wondered, to pull the plastic from the ocean? This idea stuck with the 2 surfers and they knew it was time to hit the drawing board. After realizing that the demand for seafood was driving the fishermen to focus on fish instead of plastic, they knew they had to create something that could fund the desired cleanup efforts. This is how the 4ocean Bracelet was born.
Made with recycled materials, every bracelet purchased funds the removal of 1 pound of trash from the ocean and coastlines. In less than 2 years, 4ocean has removed 3,888,300 pounds of trash from the ocean and coastlines.
4ocean currently operates out of multiple countries and employs over 150 people worldwide.
